Mediatization of Culture: The Challenge of New Media is a major research programme financed by the National Research Council for Culture and Communication (FKK) for the period 2011-2015.  By mediatization we generally understand the process through which core elements of a social or cultural activity become influenced by and dependent on the media. In this project we particularly look at how new media are implicated in cultural and social change. The various individual projects study the influence of new media in relation to
